Kick-off your trip in Oaxaca central, where you will celebrate Mexican Independence Day alongside crowds of enthusiastic locals by partying in the streets until late in the evening. Then escape the noise and immerse yourself in the famous and other-worldly cloud forests outside of the city. This tour focuses on seeking endemic species of amphibians and reptiles, particularly vipers. There is ample opportunity to birdwatch and night hikes are offered every evening. Additionally, this tour exposes participants to Mexican culture with mezcal tasting and cooking lessons featuring local foods and flavors. There is also opportunity to attend a pottery workshop and create traditional Mexican drink ware.
